Zermatt is car-free, and that is exactly what makes the place so pleasantly quiet and easy to get around. If you are travelling by car, park conveniently in Täsch and continue from there to Zermatt in around 12 minutes – either by shuttle train or by taxi.
Parking in Täsch
In Täsch there are suitable parking options for day visitors and holiday travellers. You can leave your vehicle there safely and switch without stress to onward transport to the mountain village.

Shuttle train or taxi: which suits you better?
The shuttle train is the practical choice if you want to travel affordably and with ease. If you prefer more comfort or are travelling with more luggage, a taxi is a good option. Both variants take you to Zermatt in about 12 minutes and make the transition from car to mountain village pleasantly smooth.

Our concierge will be waiting for you on your arrival at the official car park directly in front of Zermatt station.
You can easily recognise our electric vehicles: they are black, decorated all around with sheep motifs and our hotel logo. The hotel logo is on the driver’s door and, on the tailgate, our sheep has: „Let's talk about holidays“.
This way, you can find our concierge quickly and easily when you arrive.
Yes. For hotel guests, the pick-up service is free of charge on arrival and on departure.
Our electric cars are black and labelled on the sides with the hotel logo and pictures of sheep. On the tailgate there is a sheep with the slogan „Let’s talk about holidays“.
Yes. Every car park in Täsch has a charging facility for electric cars.
Please inform reception about the train delay so that the porter does not wait unnecessarily at the station. We will then arrange collection for the new arrival time.
The driver is waiting in the electric parking area in front of the station, by the Zermatt Tourismus office.
Yes. You can change the arrival time for the transfer without any problem up to 10 minutes beforehand.
How long before arrival do you need to register the transfer?
Registering it approx. 10 minutes before the desired pick-up time is usually more than sufficient.
If more than 7 guests at the same time register for the same transfer, there may be short waiting times. In general, however, the waiting time is only about 7 to 8 minutes.
No, our electric vehicles are, due to their special design and the very low speed limit, fitted with neither child seats nor seat belts.
No, a bank transfer is no longer possible after check-in.
Bank transfers must be made before arrival to ensure that the amount has been received in our account in good time before departure.
Of course! Our porter will be happy to take care of your luggage during your check-in and bring it right to your room or apartment.

No, taxis are also not allowed to drive right up to the hotel in Zermatt, as Zermatt is car-free.
However, the taxi driver informs us already during the journey to Zermatt. This means we can arrange our porter in good time, who will meet you on your arrival at the entrance to Zermatt and accompany you and your luggage to the hotel.
The costs for a Park & Ride vary depending on the provider and season:
- Parking in Täsch: in summer approx. CHF 16.– to 18.– per day, in winter approx. CHF 18.– to 22.– per day.
- Taxi transfer to Zermatt: approx. CHF 30.– to 34.– for 1 to 3 people. Each additional person costs approx. CHF 10.– extra.
- Night supplements: may vary depending on the provider.
