A good day begins with a really good breakfast. At the Wellness Hotel Alpenhof Zermatt, every morning you can expect a delightful selection of fresh, regional and homemade treats – included with every room reservation.
From 07.00 to 10.30, our breakfast team will spoil you with everything your heart desires. Look forward to freshly baked bread, fine butter and yoghurt from the Tradition Julen, as well as dried meat, raw ham, salami and bacon from our own farm.
Cheese lovers will also be in their element: alongside the flavoursome Alpkäse from the Tradition Julen cows, a fine selection of regional and Swiss cheese specialities awaits you.

Start the day in style with freshly prepared omelettes, scrambled eggs or soft-boiled eggs. These are served with homemade crêpes, bacon and sausages, as well as seasonal fruit.
For sweet indulgence, there is homemade Birchermüsli, honey, jams and fine sweets. Coffee specialities to suit your taste, freshly squeezed orange juice and a glass of sparkling wine make breakfast a special experience.

Tea Time
Our patissier conjures up a variation of dreamy cakes every day from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm for all house guests. There is also coffee and tea - all free of charge, of course.
Half board
Our head chef Jonas Hehl and his team spoil our guests every day from 18:30 to 21:30 with a delicious 5-course set menu featuring seasonal produce. A perfect taste experience is what defines our cuisine – and that also includes the right wine. With over 200 varieties from all over the world, wine lovers are truly spoilt for choice.
For our vegetarian, vegan, gluten- and lactose-free guests or anyone with other allergies, we naturally have something delicious in store too!

Catering
Children up to 8.99 years old stay in their parents' room free of charge including breakfast, provided a sofa bed is available. Half board costs CHF 30.00 per child for children up to 8.99 years old. Children may choose freely from the dishes on offer.
Children from 9 to 15.99 years old pay CHF 60.00 per night for the sofa bed. Half board for children aged 9 and over is charged at the adult rate.
If the parents have booked half board and an à la carte selection is desired for a child, please contact reception.
Yes, definitely. Please let us know about any special diet or particular dietary requirements before arrival so that we can prepare accordingly.
All Inclusive includes a wide selection of drinks. These include wines by the glass, spirits, Prosecco, Aperol Spritz, soft drinks and hot drinks.
With half board, breakfast and dinner are included. Drinks are not included.
With all inclusive, breakfast, dinner, drinks, ski hire and ski pass are included in winter. In summer, breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and the Peak Pass are included.
Half board includes a 5-course menu every day. Drinks are not included.
Half-board costs CHF 60.00 per person for hotel guests. When booking the room directly via our website, by telephone or by email, and when half-board is booked in advance, the price is CHF 50.00 per person.

For direct bookers who book half board in advance by no later than 1 day before arrival, the following prices apply:
- Children from 0 to 8.99 years: CHF 30.– per child and night. The children may eat whatever they like.
- Children from 9 years: CHF 50.– per child and night.
Alternatively, only the adults can book half board. The children can then order à la carte, with the ordered dishes charged separately to the room bill.
For bookings via online portals and when half board is booked only on site, the following prices apply:
- Children from 0 to 8.99 years: CHF 30.–

Yes, for direct bookings we can refund you CHF 25.– per person if you choose not to use half board for one evening.
Please note:
- The cancellation must be announced in advance at reception.
- The refund applies only to direct bookings and not to bookings via online portals such as Booking and Expedia.
- If you do not turn up for dinner without prior cancellation, the half board will be charged in full and no refund will be given.
Dine Around offers our half-board guests at Hotel Alpenhof and Hotel Julen the opportunity to have dinner at the other hotel as well.
- Guests of Hotel Alpenhof can book the daily changing 5-course menu at Hotel Julen as a Dine Around option.
- Guests of Hotel Julen can, conversely, book the 5-course menu at Hotel Alpenhof as a Dine Around option.
- In addition, Restaurant Julen offers a 3-course fondue menu as an alternative.

For a departure before 07:00, the lunchbox is free of charge as breakfast.

No, none of the three restaurants offers Halal or Kosher.
Yes, a specific seating request can certainly be made. However, table allocation is carried out by the service team and depends on availability.
Yes. In all three restaurants there is a special children's menu with dishes for children.
Yes, we can gladly organise a birthday cake. Please order this at least 3 days in advance. The price is approx. CHF 12.00 per person. For reservations with half board, we surprise the birthday child with a nicely decorated dessert. In this case, no cake needs to be ordered separately.
No. An invoice with billing address can only be issued on the same day. The restaurant consumption must therefore be paid for at reception on the same day.
Larger groups can be reserved on request by e-mail.
- Restaurant Schäferstube: Groups of up to 14 people. Reservations are possible à la carte and subject to the two service times.
- Restaurant Julen: Groups of up to 20 people. You can reserve à la carte or with a set menu option, ideal also for family and company celebrations.
- Restaurant Im Hof: In summer, groups of up to 30 people. Reservations are only possible with set menu options, also for smaller budgets. In winter, no group reservations are offered at Restaurant Im Hof.
