Designed with great attention to detail, our spacious SPA area invites you to linger, relax and dream both indoors and outdoors.
Warmth & water in the open air
In the outdoor area, a soothing bio sauna at 60 °C, a traditional Finnish sauna at 90 °C and a relaxing steam bath at 70 °C await you. In the whirlpool at a pleasant 38 °C, you can enjoy bubbling warmth with a view of the mountains.
Families are catered for too: the family whirlpool at 38 °C is located in the textile area and is also suitable for children.
Peace & relaxation indoors
The light-filled heated pool at 27 °C invites you to swim and unwind. Afterwards, you will find a quiet place to breathe deeply and let go in the relaxation room.
For special moments of wellbeing, there are three massage rooms for professional treatments as well as a private beauty whirl bath for two people. Anyone who wants to stay active on holiday will find everything they need for their daily workout in the fitness room.
Comfortable changing rooms and showers are also available - also for our day spa guests and guests on their departure day.
Day spa in Zermatt - A break, even without an overnight stay
Don't you stay with us, but would still like to enjoy a soothing break? Welcome to Alpenhof SPA. External guests can also visit our spacious wellness area as a day spa.
The SPA is open daily from 10.00 to 20.00. Admission is CHF 90.– per person in winter and CHF 60.– per person in summer. Local residents receive a discount on presentation of the blue card.
The number of day spa admissions is limited. Early registration is therefore recommended.
Day spa and massages are charged separately. The regular SPA admission fee must also be paid for a massage. Unfortunately, an additional discount on the admission price is not possible when massages are booked.

Wellness & Spa & Swimming Pool & Fitness
Children are very welcome in selected areas of our spa area. The saunas are designated as a nude zone and are accessible exclusively to guests aged 16 and over.
Our swimming pools, as well as the family jacuzzi at Alpenhof and the family sauna at Julen, may however be used by children of any age.
Yes, children are very welcome in our swimming pools.
The swimming pool at Hotel Alpenhof is heated to 26 °C, the swimming pool at Hotel Julen to a pleasant 28 °C.
Yes, the swimming pool can be used from 07:00 and the wellness area from 10:00.
Yes, certainly! Even after check-out, you can still use our Spa area until 20:00 in the evening.
