Renovations Hotel Alpenhof - July 2015

Since December 2015 42 newly renovated rooms are available for our guests. Even more comfortable and cosy. Excited? A very first peep through the keyhole....

On their search for the perfect concept for our new Alpenhof rooms, renowned interior designers CAVIGELLI & RINDERKNECHT took inspiration from the centuries-old barns and farming life of a typical Valais village. Combinations of wood and stone, decorative knitted pieces, and interiors made from natural materials as well as simple objects with a modern twist and all contemporary technical comforts.

Visit the sheep barn during December & January

Every Wednesday from December 12th 2018 until January 30th 2019 you are welcome to visit the black nose sheep in their barn at the edge of the village of Zermatt. The perfect opportunity for the Julen family to bring their animals even closer to their guests.

Visit the sheep barn in February & March

Every Wednesday from the 6th of February until the 27th of March 2019 you are welcome to visit the black nose sheep in their barn at the edge of the village of Zermatt. The Julen family holds with over 300 black nose sheeps worldwide the largest breeding.

Zermatt Unplugged

The next Zermatt Unplugged will take place from the 9th to the 13th of April 2019. Enjoy over 70 acoustic concerts at fourteen different venues in Zermatt and the Zermatt ski area during five unforgettable days.
