When the weather is fine in June and July we will be out cutting hay in the alpine meadows. Why not lend a hand with this age-old tradition in and around Zermatt, Täsch and Randa and experience the satisfaction of physical labour and the wonderful fragrances of Zermatt alpine hay.

• meeting point: 1pm at Hotel Julen
• ride to the alpine meadows
• short introduction and training by a member of the Julen family
• help with the hay harvest
• 4pm break with a “Tradition Julen tea-break” with home grown products
• return to the stable between 5 and 6 pm
• handover of the Hay Harvest diploma and a gift
• daily except Sunday and with bad weather
• optional Hay Harvest menu
